Dear Greenwood Members,
I'm sorry to say but we will NOT be starting on 10/1/2010, the first week of schoool. This is due to the fact that the academic department is having trouble scheduling classes, so instead of us getting kicked out on the first day, they have decided to close ALL CLASSROOMS during the first week of school.
Here is the message the public event manager has given me:
"Hi Sasha,
The reason why you’re not able to reserve on the 10/1 date is because all academic classrooms are blocked off by Academic Scheduling for the 1st 2 weeks of school. They are still relocating and rearranging classroom assignments during the 1st 2 weeks, so in the past many student groups were bumped out of what they had already been confirmed for. Unfortunately on the 10/1 there is no availability in the HUB either, so I cannot offer a different space that is available. For the 10/1 date, I suggest checking with the Rec Center or Housing for a meeting space. I apologizer for the inconvenience.

Our FIRST MEETING WILL BE ON 10/8/2010. This will be the second week of school.
DO NOT GO TO WATKINS 2240 ON 10/1/2010! NO ONE WILL BE THERE.
In addition, this means we will be forced to cramp a lot of shows during FALL QUARTER 2010.
As an update for shows, I have canceled Heroman, and replaced it with DURARARA!! In addition I will be adding the show Seto no Hanayome as our comedy for the year.
I can't take any more recomendations because time is very short, and I have worked very hard to make this year very fun with lots of activities.
