Anime Shopping Spring 2010

The anime shopping trip has crept upon us this quarter. This Saturday, May 15, we will be heading out to Little Tokyo once again for fun and frivolities.

Time: We'll be meeting up at 9, with plans to leave for our first destination by around 9:15-9:30ish.

Place: We'll be meeting in Parking lot 6 on the UCR campus. This is relatively close to where are club meetings are; it's the parking lot next to the new Psychology building. If anyone is completely lost I'd be happy to post a link to a campus map.

If you're driving or need a ride, post below. Make a special note if you're not going to be at club this Friday, the 14th, because we'll need to remember to include you in our plans.

We'll discuss where to go during our meeting this Friday, but it's safe to say that we're probably still going to Frank and Sons and we're DEFINITELY still going to Little Tokyo.

Remember to bring $5 to help your driver with gas, and money for food and trinkets.

I was hoping it wouldn't be this weekend, I'll be out of town. Hopefully I'll be able to see you guys at the pillows concert next week though...

I was told the trip was going to be on the 22nd. Whether I misunderstood or there was a change of plans, I'll still go either way, though I wonder if everyone else is clear on the current plan.

Yeah, my apologies for that. I was originally planning the trip for may 22, but remembered a PM I received some months ago from Gamlin that indicated there was an "adventurer's guild event" on the 22nd that conflicted with the shopping trip. I was afraid that this conflict would arise in many others who also attend the adventurer's guild, and that's what prompted the change in date.

The problem with that is 1. It's a ton of work for me, 2. None of the people who went in my car would want to go a second time because they're either tapped out of funds and/or time, and 3. As I understood it, there would only be 2 people that would be able to make it next Saturday that weren't able to make it this past weekend.

So, in summary, there would be even less people than there was this past weekend because most of the people who went last weekend wouldn't be able to make it to a second trip.
