Hello Greenwood, name's Sebastian.

I've known about Greenwood for a bit, and at first I was kind of thinking, "No, I shouldn't join 'cause I'm not the biggest anime person out there." I haven't seen Haruhi...I haven't finished Lucky Star! Yep, I'm far behind. However, the nice Welcome post says that you guys do gaming every now and then. Needless to say, I'S HAPPIES.

I guess I'll say a bit about myself.

Favorite anime series (how do you make "series" plural again?): Serial Experiments Lain, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and the Slayers (Next and Try included)
Favorite anime movie: Ninja Scroll
Favorite anime soundtrack: .hack//sign, 'cause Yuki Kajiura and Emilie Bindiger are awesome!

I grew up watching American and Japanese animation, so I'm not completely out of the loop I hope.

I look forward to attending the first meeting of the 09-10 year, if that's alright.

I'm not aware of club members needed to have watched any prerequisite shows before joining the club, and the shows you have watched are rather good imo, so you should be just fine.

The video-game nights are usually something that's done at the end of the quarter meetings. During the regular meetings it's just whatever is being shown and then a few people might play a cardgame outside in the hallway (like Munchkin for example).

Feel free to stop by when the club starts back up, you only have to wait a few months before it starts back up. =P

Welcome! Don't worry about not watching too many anime, or not finishing a series... Heh, half the things I collect I've only finished halfway. Just enjoy what you like, and be polite enough to let others enjoy what they like as the show runs as well.

Hiya!!! I don't watch that much anime anymore either! So you're not alone. I didn't even see Fullmetal Alchemist until two months ago!!! Mostly I just stick to the ones I know, y'know?

But when it comes to Kingdom Hearts, I'm right on top of things ^_^

Thanks everyone, enjoyed the first meeting and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year. Truth be told though, I'll feel a bit uneasy if we watch bad anime and just maul it for kicks and giggles <:]
