Although I have my doubts about trusting people on this forum
(Just kidding =P) I believe that it would be best to remove your number from your post since these are public forums and do not require you to log in, so anyone that happens by our little site here (spammers mostly) will be able to see it.
Anyhow, welcome to the club and we hope to you'll be able to make it to a meeting eventually =P.

We axed Macross and picked three new anime's to take it and Gunslinger Girls place. Oh yeah, and watched a lot of intros and a couple AMV's.
I wanted to at least see Macross' ending! Why?! WHYYY?!

Since Gunslinger Girl ended and we seemed to have had very few people interested in continuing Macross Frontier, we had to figure out what else to watch.
It was a raucous evening as we came up with titles to fill the timeslots with. Everyone was championing their favorite series and threatening dissenters. We watched YouTube videos of various anime openings, each one more lascivious than the last. We wrote down a dozen of our options on the chalkboard to discuss them, but while everyone was watching the screen I worte dozens more in the cover of darkness, overwhelming everyone when the lights came on. In the end, only a few titles came out as the winners. Although I can't remember what we decided on at the moment, I do remember thinking at the time the remainder of this quarter and the whole of next will be fantastic.
Though, it is too bad we didn't go with my ideas for "Hentai Power Hour" or a Chi marathon.

I wanted to see the end of Macross as well, but I counted only three people interested in continuing the series which is a sad number considering that we'd have to watch 2 episodes of Macross Frontier a week to finish by the end of the quarter. If we were over halfway through the series as we are with our other series I probably would have continued screening Macross regardless, but we weren't even a third of the way through the series yet. And what happened to our prospective member lol. He came with you right? Whoever it was left so fast that I didn't even notice. |
