I got my coworker intrigued about dressing up as a goth-loli, but she doesn't feel like making one in time for halloween. Anyone know a good website selling full goth-loli costumes at a good deal?

Hikarichan probably has some good suggestions on about that.

If you're looking for a costume, there are any number of cheap knock-off gothic lolita wear all over eBay. I really don't know which sellers are decent though; most take a few months to ship and the quality is lousy. The 2nd Anime Jungle store has the cheap knock-offs, and Hot Topic sometimes has pieces that would work. This is typically called the "ita" look - cheap fabric (shiny = BAD), cheap and WAY TOO MUCH lace (synthetic), poor construction, looks fetishy (i.e. NOT modest) - all making it look like a costume and not a legitimate fashion. Actually, I take it back. I know one place to buy cheap lolita, some of it not half bad. It's the Japanese knock-off brand Bodyline! Durrrr. The site is so busy sometimes it doesn't load. Means you just have to try again later: www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/EDIT 2: www.milanoo.com/wholesale-Lolita-Clothing-c634^^^ Don't know what the quality is like, but they won't be as nice as some of the pics (can tell they're stolen from actual brand sites - they just changed the backgrounds) -------------------------------------------------- If you're looking for actual pieces from the fashion (which is what I wear), those are going to be much more expensive. Most can be found on the lolita LiveJournal community for less, but you have to be a member of the sales community to purchase: community.livejournal.com/egl_comm_sales/A good link for online shops (some of the Japanese sites do not ship internationally - have to use a shopping service): www.loligothdbs.com/online-shops-feedback-database/I buy expensive burando ~_^ from places like these: www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/english.htmlThe above link contains instructions to buy from their Japanese site here: www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/www.angelicpretty.com/en/index.htmlwww.metamorphose.gr.jp/english/Here's a fun ita to lolita LJ post: most people began well enough, but my fave "ita to lolita" timeline is for user meow_tan (that first 2008 dress - the horror!!! @_@). Her most recent pic I absolutely adore! community.livejournal.com/egl/13619932.htmlHope this helps! EDIT: I made one HUGE omission! Typically these things sell "one size fits all" - there is a varying amount of give to accomodate varying bust/waist sizes if there is an elastic panel in the back or front (called shirring). What size/height is your co-worker? Around my size? Taller, larger lolis have to make their selections more carefully.
