As the title suggest, it was announced that the live action L spin off film will be coming to SoCal theaters for two nights at the end of April (in both subbed and dubbed versions for those who are picky). As an avid L fan myself I must say I enjoyed the film when it was screened at AX last year, so I recommend it to others. Details on how to get tickets can be found here: www.animenewsnetwork.com/press-release/2009-03-05/viz-pictures-and-ncm-present-live-action-death-note/l-change-the-world-special-2-night-eventIts very interesting to notice the rise in Anime and anime related films being screened in American theaters (and by large chains at that). Although it is not quite yet mainstream, it seems that American producers are finally beginning to acknowledge the power of Japanese storytelling (and its marketability).
