Burakku Rokku Shuutaa natsukashii kioku- (Black Rock Shooter, nostalgic memories...) Chibi-Miku is dressed up as Black Rock Shooter, a character illustrated by Huke, you can check out more of his artwork here although it's all in Japanese. B★RS became popular when a popular Vocaloid song artist (Ryo/Supercell) made this song. Apparently she has become popular enough to get her own figure as well. (and yes, I'll be getting it also when it's released =P)

The bulge in her pants in the figure pic is a little suspicious.

「肉」 (Meat) This a throwback to the old Kinniku Man (Muscle Man) anime/manga. The title character had the 「肉」 symbol on his forehead. Kinniku Man was also known for being an idiot, and hence drawing 「肉」 on someone's forehead is a derogatory statement.

Wonder if this was payback for all the stuff Rin has done to chibi-Miku.

For those that don't understand why Chibi Miku is so upset in the last panel, it's because Rin is trying to keep the half that's easier to eat for herself. It should go to the child. I find this one to be entirely too cute.

The following comics introduces a new character so I figure now would be a good time to give some background info on them, I'll also do the same each time a new character shows up. Len & Rin Kagamine: They are officially 14 years old, with Len being a little taller and heavier than Rin—156 vs 152 cm (5 ft. 1.4 in. vs 5 ft. 0 in.) and 47 vs 43 kg (103 vs 94.79 lbs.). They are further distinguished by clothing. Len wears a long white shirt with tie, long shorts, and has his hair pulled back. Rin, in contrast, wears a midriff-baring white shirt with kerchief, short shorts, and bow in her hair. Finally, they each have their own, unique character items. Len tends to use either a banana or pineapple, while Rin is typically seen with a mikan or yellow onion. However, both twins also share a roadroller as a joint item. Panel 4: JAKIN! (the sound of something metallic popping out)

Is it ironic at all that even though they're vocaloids, none of them ever talk in this fan comic?

What do you mean? Chibi-Miku just asked Rin for a leek in this comic. =P Yeah, I basically thought the same thing when reading through them the first time. Although there are a few comics here and there ( next two coming up for example) that have characters saying something but they are few and far between it seems. Although they do sound kind of strange when they are just talking: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZx5QtxSbaU(first 16 seconds of the video)

Hm, was thinking about some different comics coming up when I said that there was some text, oh well. Panel 1: Dota Bata (a rushing, stomping type of sound...think someone heavy footed running across a wood floor) Panel 2: Ga (the sound of Chibi Miku's foot catching Excaleekbur...while the katakana used is actually "ga" and "tsu," the "tsu" in this case is small and silent, denoting an abrupt ending to the sound) Panel 3: Bita-n (the sound of Chibi Miku crashing to the ground) Panel 4: chiku (the sound of the mosquito piercing Chibi Miku's hand...also used for needle sounds...once again, the "tsu" at the end is small and silent, denoting an abrupt ending to the sound) Panel 1: pori pori (sound of Chibi Miku scratching her mosquito bite) Panel 3: Bishi (sound of Rin doing a thumbs-up/snap...she's trying to take away the itchiness) Panel 4: pori pori (it obviously didn't work)

Panel 1: Today, we have a frightening ghost special Panel 2: BAIN! (sound of Chibi Miku crashing into and bouncing off of Rin)
