Different artist; there were only 5 comics and these were the only two that didn't have a lot of text.
The pink octopus is called Takoluka (Tako = Octopus) which is like the 'Hachune' version of Miku but for the Vocaloid Luka Megurine (she show's up in the comic much later).

chibi-Miku will be going on break during the summer as well, although there might be other stuff posted occasionally if I find something interesting. Here is a picture to hold you over for the time being:

The history of the 3D PV models of Hatsune Miku from 2007 to 2009 with engrish subtitles:
It gets kind of nsfw at the 5 minute mark or so (well, nsfw and just plain wierd).

The official website for the "Black Rock Shooter" song from the virtual idol singer Hatsune Miku has confirmed that supervisor Yutaka Yamamoto and his Ordet studio are developing an anime project for next spring. A "Pilot Edition" of the anime will ship on DVD or Blu-ray Disc (BD) on September 30. The Pilot Edition will bundle a CD single with a new recording of the song's "live perfomance" version, as well as a booklet with image sketches for the anime. The song's creator huke and musical composer/producer ryo are collaborating with Ordet on the project. Yamamoto (Kannagi, Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) is supervising the project, although Shinobu Yoshioka (episode director on Lucky Star, Haruhi) is the actual director. In a related development, the consumer electronics company Pioneer demonstrated its new "FV-1 Floating Vision" personal 3D monitor by screening a Hatsune Miku dance movie created with the Dance Mixer software. Ha ha, it's amazing how popular Vocaloid is. Isn't Miku's "live" concert tomorrow? But considering how Japan's time is about a day ahead of ours...0_0
Also, are you by chance a BR⑨, neo1337?

Yeah, right after the post I found that video. Too bad the comments were on but oh well. I couldn't find the original on Nico Video either.
Ah man, I haven't read Advent Cirno yet, I just barely finished 30 but only half has been translated. Um, should I NOT talk about the original source material? You know, the "T" word?
