Well, considering the fact that we have so many Kingdom Hearts fans in the club, I decided to make a topic for the discussion of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. Feel free to discuss anything about Kingdom Hearts with your fellow club members here. Well in recent news, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix has been announced and will be released in Japan on January 20th 2011. www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/bbsfm/A new Kingdom Hearts Original Soundtrack is set to be released on February 2nd 2011. www.square-enix.co.jp/music/sem/page/kh/bbs_days/Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded is set be released in North America on January 11th, 2011. na.square-enix.com/khrecoded/

Why exactly are there so many final Mixes? Do they give you any more insight into the game's plot?

Yeah, the final mixes are pretty much a director's cut and contain extra features such as new bosses, abilities, Xehanort/Ansem reports, and cutscenes. The new cutscenes and reports also give the player a deeper look inside the story and hints towards future Kingdom Hearts titles. For example, this cutscene frome Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix refers to Birth by Sleep (Which wasn't released until 2 years later) where we see Aqua's armor. www.youtube.com/watch?v=we6FIFgYkcsAnd this extra cutscene shows us a little more about Roxas's backstory and how he got his name. www.youtube.com/watch?v=emKRK5rdrLI&feature=related They also have secret endings that serve as trailers for the next mainstream game. [Don't worry, they aren't considered spoilers in this day and age ] KHFM Secret Ending: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOz9mgs5-mIKH2FM Secret Ending: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oo1D6Nvy3c8Edit: New boss fight: "No Heart" is confirmed for Birth by Sleep Final Mix! kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/No_Heart
