There really arn't a lot of stores that just do anime, but most electronic/movie stores have a little section for anime. The last time I went to Frys, the one in Oxynard, it had an aisle dedicated to anime. It had a pretty decent selection. You're probably not going to get any obscure series like Kaiba, though. Power Anime? I cant remember the places we went to during the fall quarter outing. D:

I was at Fry's in Anaheim(?) over a week ago, and they had some decent prices on movies (wound up getting "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie," "Perfect Blue," "Ghost in the Shell," and "GitS:SAC -- Solid State Society"). (Yes, I know these films are fairly old, but they're ones that I either A) owned on VHS, or B) saw them fansubbed, so it took me a while to get around to buying them.) But they had a pretty decent selection of series as well. Still, when I want to pick up a box set, I'll either try to find it on sale at a convention or through www.therightstuf.com.

Fry's seems to have the least expensive prices anywhere EXCEPT when compared to an online sale (like at therightstuff.com). If what you are looking for is not coming up on sale, you probably can't go wrong getting it at Fry's. Since I have not shopped at a con, I cannot comment compared to a con.
